This is a really overdue review as we stayed in August 2010 - so my sincere apologies for forgetting to do this earlier - but I came across the booking form when sorting out my emails and felt I had to leave our comments! Perhaps the best way to sum it up is to say: staff 11/10, food 10/10, cleanliness 10/10, helpfulness 10/10. We had a great stay and everyone was so helpful and friendly! I haven't got any negative comments except the mattress was a bit hard (but that is probably just personal taste). Thank you for a fantastic stay - we really did enjoy ourselves and would definitely recommend The White House! Best wishes, Jane and Keith.

I have stayed at the White House twice so far this year and would not hesitate to return. Mike and his staff are friendly and professional; the rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast is fantastic.

Stayed 2 nights 30/31 May.Mike & all staff very friendly and helpfull,rooms excellent and very clean,food also excellent. Could not fault staff or hotel. I would highly recommened The White House .and would stay again.

We brought our dog Teifi to stay at the White House and she/we were made to feel most welcome. We had a lovely room and a very good breakfast. Everything was spotless. Teifi appreciated it as much as we did.

Stayed 2 nights in April. Very clean and comfortable room and en suite shower room. Freshly cooked breakfast and excellent friendly service. Mike made a special effort to make space for us to park our car in his private driveway, which was much appreciated. There was an administrative mix up with our reservation, which might have caused us a problem. We booked two rooms and when we emailed to check, prior to our visit, we were told we only had booked one room. However this was rectified and luckily, the rooms were available.
